Dowel Australia proudly support the Redcliffe Kite Flying Association.
In 2001, the Association made an attempt on the world record to have the most number of kites flying at the one time. Wanda’s Wooden Dowel provided the dowel used in the production of many of the kites entered into the competition. Incidentally the record was broken and the result entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
